Dr Tsuzuki is Associate Director Research and Associate Professor in Nanomaterials at the Research School of Electrical Energy and Materials Engineering, College of Engineering and Computer Science, the Australian National University (ANU). He received a PhD in condensed matter physics from Kyoto University, Japan, and a Graduate Certificate in Technology Management from La Trobe University. At ANU, he is leading the Laboratory of Advanced Nanomaterials for Sustainability. He has 30 years of experience in the synthesis of nanomaterials and their applications in sustainable development. Some of the past and present research projects include the removal of heavy metals and organic pollutants from water.
